The Summerlin masterplan

The Summerlin masterplan in Las Vegas is one of the top selling master planned communities in all of the country. Started in the late 1990’s by The Howard Hughes Corporation, Summerlin is one of Las Vegas’ most desirable communities. Summerlin has set a high standard for master planned communities anywhere with some of Clark County’s top performing schools, community parks, trails, golf courses, great shopping centers and restaurants. The masterplan stretches over 22,000 acres and about 15 miles from its northernmost point to southern end.

Located on the west side of the Las Vegas valley, some of the communities sit nestled to foot of the Red Rock conservation areas. The natural beauty of Red Rock and Calico Basin truly make this masterplan unique. Some of the communities currently being built nearest to the Red Rock conservation area are – Reverence by Pulte, Los Altos by Toll Bros, Bixby Creek by Woodside, Scots Pine by Richmond, Skye Knoll by Richmond and Shadow Point by Toll Bros. Further down to Summerlin’s Southern point are the villages called The Mesa and The Cliffs which hold some of Summerlin’s most modern and “desert contemporary” housing. Toll Bros Granite Heights and Iron Wood are among the most luxurious communities in The Cliffs. You can find some of the valley’s most sought after mountain and city views from these locations. They are being built right at the footstep of The Spring Mountains.

There are various established communities including condominiums, townhomes and high rise condos in Summerlin. Among its villages are also the age qualified communities of Sun City Summerlin, Sienna, Trilogy, and Regency. Some of the amenities offered at the age qualified communities include tennis courts, golf courses, bocce ball, pickle-ball courts, club houses, restaurants, heated pools and spas. The newest of the age qualified communities are Regency by Toll Bros and Trilogy by Shea. Both communities are gated and offer resort style amenities. Trilogy offers a condo and townhome product only while Regency is all single story detached houses. The clubhouse at Shea’s Trilogy is slated to open this April 2019!

Downtown Summerlin is located in a central location between Sahara and Charleston Blvd just a stone’s throw from the 215 freeway off ramp. Here you can find shopping, restaurants, and entertainment for the entire family.  Dave and Buster’s sports bar and arcade is a popular spot for young kids and adults! If you love catching the newest movies Regal Cinemas Summerlin has you covered. This theater features the “Regal King Size Reclining Seats” that make this cinema one of my favs!

Our new ballpark for the Las Vegas Aviators Triple A Minor league baseball team is the newest addition to Downtown Summerlin. The stadium has seating capacity for 10,000 people. Construction for the stadium started in February of 2018 and was completed in April 2019. Our first home game was on April 9th, 2019 against the Sacramento River Cats.

Las Vegas has been changing and growing like it never has before. Our newest communities in Summerlin and surrounding areas store some of the most desirable communities in Las Vegas. Our residents are proud to have professional sports teams such as the Las Vegas Golden Knights, Aviators, Lights FC and soon to be Las Vegas Raiders calling Vegas home. There has never been a more exciting time to be a Las Vegan!
